Terry Fox Works Day

The students of the Interdisciplinary Oncology Program (IOP), with the support of GrasPods, put on a Games Day in September 2010 to raise funds for the Terry Fox Foundation. Thanks to everyone who came out to make this event a great success! Over $2000 was raised for the Terry Fox Foundation, in support of cancer research across the country.

Bake Sale for Haiti

After the devastating Haiti earthquake in January 2010 left the country in need of significant foreign aid, GrasPods members chipped in by holding a bake sale. Through the bake sale and related fundraising activities, we raised over $1100 for Medecins Sans Frontiers (Doctors Without Borders) to help them in assisting the people of Haiti by providing basic health care and other essential needs. Thanks for all your support!

Ride to Conquer Cancer

In 2009, GrasPods had a team participating in the Ride to Conquer Cancer. We raised over $9000 for cancer research! Thanks to Geraldine Aubert and the rest of the Chain Gang crew for all the hard work and to everyone who supported them!

Movember

In 2008 and 2009, GrasPods members participated in Movember, an annual awareness campaign for prostate cancer, happening in the month of November. Check out some of the mos from 2009. Thanks to everyone who supported the cause!
