Vancouver Welcome Guide (September 2009) - for everyone new to Vancouver The January 2009 edition is still available. On November 27, 2008, in conjunction with GrasPods' third birthday celebration, the membership ratified a new set of constitution and bylaws to guide the society through its next phase of growth. As of June 2009, the Society is formally incorporated as a society in BC, which will allow us better access to funds from the GSS, the BCCF, and other donors. Annual General Meeting Minutes and Annual Reports As an incorporated society, GrasPods is required to hold general meetings at least once annually. At each meeting, the executive is elected for the upcoming year and the outgoing executive file a report summarizing the society's activities over the past year. Minutes from past AGMs and their corresponding Annual Reports are archived here. Minutes from monthly executive meetings can also be made available to members upon request. Please contact our VP Internal for more information. 2009 2009 AGM minutes (Word file) 2010 President - Benjamin Lai (blai [at] bccrc.ca) Volunteer associates: Jobs in Science Interview Series Coordinator - Maisam Makarem (mmakarem [at] bccrc.ca) 2009 President - Gerald Li (gli [at] bccrc.ca) Volunteer associates: Chain Gang (Ride to Conquer Cancer) Team Captain - Geraldine Aubert (gaubert [at] bccrc.ca) |
